As a pet owner and a veterinarian technician I understand the separation anxiety pets feel when they are away from their owners. I started pet sitting to give pet owners an opportunity to reduce the stress their pets experience by allowing them to stay in the familiar setting of their own home. Getting Started

Once you have made the decision to utilize a pet sitter, how do you find the right person? You want someone who is responsible and experienced. Someone who shares your love of animals and you can trust with your pets and your home.

Call to set up an interview. This is an important step in the process. You will meet me and I will meet your pets. This gives me the opportunity to observe your pets in their environment. We will discuss their daily routine, feeding schedule, medications, special habits and any other unusual conditions.

Your information will also be recorded: who is your veterinarian, how can I contact you in an emergency, I am looking forward to hearing from you.

In-Home Pet Sitting

I will visit your with your pet to provide TLC while you are away. Visitations will include playtime, fresh water, feeding, administering medications and litter boxes cleaned and changed.. While I am visiting your home you can be sure your special pet will be properly cared for and receive the same tender loving care as if you were there.

Security is also a concern while you are away. I can bring in your mail and daily paper, turn on security lighting in the evening and keep up the appearance that someone is home.

Mid-day walks

If your busy schedule does not allow you to provide a mid-day break or exercise for your pet I can provide this service for you. Dogs of all ages will benefit from this noon time break.
